Mesut Ozil: Arsenal midfielder 'profoundly frustrated' after Premier League crew exclusion

"After marking my new agreement in 2018, I vowed my reliability and devotion to the club that I love, Arsenal, and it disheartens me that this has not been responded.

"I've generally attempted to stay positive from week to week that there's perhaps an opportunity to get back in the crew soon once more. That is the reason I kept quiet up until this point."

Since joining Real Madrid seven years prior, Ozil has scored 44 objectives in 254 appearances in all rivalries for the Gunners.

He becomes undesirable under past director Unai Emery before getting back to the side under interval manager Freddie Ljungberg.

After Mikel Arteta's arrangement in December 2019, Ozil began every one of the 10 of Arsenal's Premier League games preceding the Covid pandemic constrained a three-month suspension of the first class in March.

Prior in October, he offered to pay the compensation of Jerry Quy, the one who assumes the function of club mascot Gunnersaurus, who was one of 55 redundancies at the club.

"Before the Covid break I was truly content with my improvement under our new mentor Mikel Arteta - we've been on a positive path and I would state my exhibitions were on a great level," Ozil included.

"Yet, at that point things changed, once more, and I was no longer permitted to play football for Arsenal.

"What else would I be able to state? London actually feels like home, I actually have numerous old buddies in this group, I actually feel a solid association with the aficionados of this club.

"Regardless, I will continue battling for my opportunity and not let my eighth season at Arsenal end this way.

"I can guarantee you that this hard choice won't transform anything in my outlook - I will keep on preparing as best as could be expected under the circumstances and any place conceivable to utilize my voice against brutality and for equity."

Previous Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright said he was "gutted" for Ozil.

"Football will surprise me constantly," he said on Twitter.

"The way that whatever has gone on couldn't be settled between the club and Mesut is dismal. Dismal for everybody included and I can just send him quality for what will be a troublesome not many months realizing he won't get an opportunity to play. Gutted. "
